Unwillingly masquerading,

with no pulse they cannot see the light,

Nothing more than a lifeless mannequin,

How fond of a memory, awaiting.

Sitting within silence has arranged them, just as they’re supposed to be,

Faithless in the world beyond this,

everyone has their reasons...

Depressingly... complicated in subject matter

Unable to properly say goodbye,

Their voices echoing through the halls now,

Tending to their every need,

when it comes time to tuck them to bed,
